CaseLube™ Technical Data Sheet (TDS)

The CaseLube™ Technical Data Sheet provides detailed physical properties, friction characteristics, drying time, and application guidance for this colloidal graphite case neck lubricant used in precision ammunition reloading applications.

Application

CaseLube™ is a precision dry film lubricant formulated for cartridge case neck lubrication in precision ammunition reloading applications.

Its ultra-thin, adherent graphite film:

  • Reduces galling during sizing

  • Promotes consistent neck tension

  • Enhances uniform bullet release

  • Minimizes dimensional change

  • Improves consistency in ballistic performance

The cured film provides dry lubrication and conductivity without buildup or measurable thickness variation when properly applied.

Composition

Processed micro graphite, thermoplastic resin, and isopropanol.

Properties

Non-corrosive, abrasion-resistant, high chemical purity, and conductive. Suitable for precision metal-to-metal applications where dry lubrication is required.

  • Cartridge case neck interior lubrication
  • Projectile coating (light, uniform application)
  • Die contact surfaces during sizing
  • Reduction of static buildup in reloading environments

Application Instructions

Supplied ready for use. Mix thoroughly before application.

Apply a thin, even film using:

  • Lint-free polyurethane foam applicator
  • Non-abrasive foam swab (recommended size C5709C)
  • Fine brush
  • Dip method (light contact only)

Allow to air dry before sizing or seating.

Typical dry film thickness: 0.2 – 0.5 mil.

Surface Preparation

Ensure cases and projectiles are clean and dry before application. Remove oils and debris prior to coating.

Dry Time

Air dries to touch in approximately 5 minutes.

Ready for use in approximately 30 minutes.

Storage

Store in a cool, well-ventilated area away from heat and ignition sources. Keep container tightly closed.

Health & Safety

Flammable. Harmful if swallowed, inhaled, or absorbed through skin.

Refer to Safety Data Sheet for complete hazard and handling information.
